Puedes volver a ellos, releer y siempre encuentras alg\u00fan nuevo matiz valioso para tu pintura. De hecho creo que son mas de consulta y lectura por cap\u00edtulos que para leer de un tir\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>No se trata de lectura de evasi\u00f3n porque Harold Speed profundiza en aspectos est\u00e9ticos. sensoriales y conceptuales sobre la naturaleza y la pr\u00e1ctica de la expresi\u00f3n art\u00edstica. Su objetivo es despertar en sus lectores el verdadero esp\u00edritu art\u00edstico individual. Para ello junto a la explicaci\u00f3n te\u00f3rica tambi\u00e9n nos propone ejercicios pr\u00e1cticos para afinar la t\u00e9cnica.<\/p>\n<h3>Harold Speed;\u00a0mucho que decir sobre el Gran Arte<\/h3>\n<p>Harold Speed es un ejemplo de maestro que tiene mucho que decir y que adem\u00e1s lo dice con conocimiento de causa porque pinta y dibuja como los mismos \u00e1ngeles. Por un lado est\u00e1 la pura percepci\u00f3n mental basada sobre todo en el conocimiento derivado de nuestro sentido del tacto asociado con la visi\u00f3n, cuyo principal instinto es poner una linea alrededor de los objetos como representando sus limites en el espacio. Por otro lado esta la percepci\u00f3n visual, que esta asociada a c\u00f3mo los objetos aparecen en la retina; una composici\u00f3n de formas con color, una especie de mosaico de color. Esos dos aspectos nos dan diferentes puntos de vista desde los que aproximarse a la representaci\u00f3n del mundo visible\u201d.<\/i><\/p>\n<p>O esta otra cita, extra\u00edda del libro <strong><em>\u201cOil painting techniques and materials\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>sobre el oficio de pintor y contra una pintura de simple perfecci\u00f3n t\u00e9cnica:<\/p>\n<p><i>\u201cLa misi\u00f3n del estudiante de pintura es buscar esa realidad interior que se revela a trav\u00e9s del aspecto de las cosas, mediante el estudio de la belleza de la forma (Valores de la forma), la belleza del tono (valores del tono), y la belleza del Color (valores del color), y dar rienda suelta a todas sus facultades intuitivas, dibujar y hacer composiciones de todas las formas y sobre cualquier tema que la realidad le pueda sugerir. \u201cEn todo este proceso debe ser resueltamente honesto y fiel a s\u00ed mismo y a su propia visi\u00f3n interior, por muy fuera de moda que pueda resultar\u201d<\/i><\/p>\n<p>En resumen dos valiosos manuales a los que recurrir de vez en cuando en busca de inspiraci\u00f3n y claridad.<\/p>\n<p>El libro <b><i>\u201c The Art and Science of Drawing\u201d <\/i><\/b>se puede descargar de forma gratuita en\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.gutenberg.org\/ebooks\/14264\" target=\"_blank\">Project Gutenberg<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Tambi\u00e9n existe una versi\u00f3n espa\u00f1ola hoy descatalogada que quiz\u00e1s puedas conseguir de segunda mano.<\/p>\n<p>El otro manual &#8220;<b><i>Oil painting techniques and materials&#8221;<\/i><\/b> no lo he encontrado en descarga gratuita pero esta publicado por Dover y lo puedes conseguir en varios sitios.
