My professional training is as a chemist and as an artist, both specialties learned at the Complutense University of Madrid. My main passion is Art, a natural attraction that goes back to my first school years. I am a compulsive reader and I suffer an infinite curiosity that has made me explore, in an arbitrary and intermittent way, other fields as different as writing, music, carpentry, luthery, fly fishing, economics or new technologies.

A few years ago I decided to start writing about Art and to organize Workshops with artists. The Art Digger is the result of my purpose, as a lover of painting, to share knowledge of what I consider “Good Art”.

I have always believed that to understand something you have to live it from within; To understand painting you have to paint and stain your clothes. This Blog invites you to know and practice painting, live the art from within; see yourself reflected facing the same problems and the same universal questions that all artists do and, eventually, find some answers.
